A spectacular aquarium located in the 16th Arrondissement at the centre of Paris, CinéAqua Underground , which was formerly known as the Aquarium du Trocadero, is one of the largest aquariums in France and in Europe, completely underground. The entrance of the aquarium is located in the Jardins de Trocadéro.

CinéAqua was entirely renovated and modernized featuring state of the art audio-visual equipment. To entertain visitors even more, it introduces marine life combined with animation and music studios. The centre houses 3 cinemas with more than 25 screens broadcasting interesting and educational marine films. The journey carries visitors from the source of the River Seine to the Atlantic, then Mediterranean, further to Polynesia and Guyana of the territories of France with extraordinary displays of the fish and other sea life creatures in each region. In very large tanks the aquarium demonstrates over 400 species and around 8000 sea life creatures, allowing families interact through touch-pools and watch feeding sessions.
